Sage Electric Company is a union contractor specializing in LEED Silver/Gold, design/build,new construction, and re-construction projects throughout Southern California.The Sage team of experienced office and field personnel offer exceptional service based on performance, reliability and the continual ability to meet or exceed budget and scheduling requirements. Sage Electric Company is an IBEW signatory electrical contracting firm located in Chatsworth, CA since 1993.Sage Electric Company also provides comprehensive management, design build,engineering, in house BIM services and constructability review services, as well as performing complete electrical, low voltage and dry utility installations. Our staff has extensive experience in projects that range from complex data centers, to high rise office buildings, OSHPD 3 hospital towers, centralplants, sound/editing studios, theme parks, industrial clean rooms, hotels, institutional buildings, photovoltaic/solar sytems, tenant improvements and facility service contracts.

BIM Services

BIM SERVICES
Sage Electric has maintained and developed a full time, in house BIM services department for the last five years.This aspect of the company has been instrumental in a large number of high profile projects involving BIM coordination, 3D modeling, and pre-construction planning and installation. This includes "real-time" coordination, whether online, or onsite, with all active trades/sub- contractors.Each project that can benefit from the BIM process is addressed invidually for the unique needs of that project.Currently utilizing AutoCAD Building Systems 2012 and Navisworks 2012 as our primary design and modeling platforms, Sage Electric has continued to develop and progress as the BIM process evolves. Sage Electric is also focused at being involved in all current, and developing technologies to contribute to the success of each project involving the BIM procedures.The benefits of BIM are then translated and communicated effectively to field shop drawings, and installation methods, that are both cost saving, and focused on meeting critical project schedule deadlines.
